Last updated: April 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Vortexorce platform (website, mobile application, and related services), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services. Vortexorce Ltd is registered in England and Wales.
2. Description of Services
Vortexorce is a staffing and workforce management platform that connects workers with employers. Our services include: job listing and application management, worker verification and document management, shift scheduling and QR-based attendance tracking, automated timesheet and invoice generation, payment processing, and dispute resolution.
3. User Accounts
You must register for an account to use our platform. You agree to: provide accurate and complete information, maintain the security of your account credentials, notify us immediately of any unauthorised access, and accept responsibility for all activities under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Worker Terms
As a worker on Vortexorce, you agree to: provide truthful information about your skills, qualifications, and right to work in the UK; upload valid and current identity and qualification documents; arrive on time for accepted shifts and use QR check-in/out accurately; follow employer site rules and health and safety requirements; and not misrepresent your hours or attendance. Workers are engaged either as PAYE employees of the platform or as self-employed contractors, depending on the arrangement.
5. Employer Terms
As an employer on Vortexorce, you agree to: provide accurate job listings with fair and legal pay rates; provide a safe working environment that complies with UK health and safety legislation; approve timesheets promptly and accurately; pay invoices within the agreed payment terms; not attempt to recruit Vortexorce workers outside the platform for 6 months after their last shift with you; and comply with all employment and anti-discrimination laws.
6. Payment Terms
Worker payments are processed weekly following timesheet approval. Employer invoices are generated weekly and are due according to the agreed payment terms. Late payments may incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate. All amounts are in GBP. VAT is charged at the applicable rate.
7. Cancellation Policy
Shift cancellations are subject to the following fees: more than 48 hours before the shift — no fee; 24 to 48 hours before the shift — 50% of the shift value; less than 24 hours before the shift — 100% of the shift value. These fees compensate workers for lost earnings and encourage reliable scheduling.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Vortexorce platform (including software, text, graphics, logos, and design) are owned by Vortexorce Ltd and protected by UK and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vortexorce Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Vortexorce in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms shall first be addressed through our internal dispute resolution process. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to mediation. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
